In the aftermath of receiving Junior College All-American Honors, she was enrolled at Arizona State University. There doubts about her character led her to stopping playing soccer. She then went on to California State University Fullerton where she graduated with the degree of Business Management as well as a minor in Human Resource Management, she earned an Associate's Degree.
